Hydration control admixtures

Hydration control admixtures, also known as hydration stabilisers, are chemical compounds that suppress hydration in concrete for a period of time that is correlated to the dosage. Once the period of time has expired, the concrete will then start to set at the same rate as it would do without the admixture. It allows the start of the set time of concrete to be predictable but without changing the set time. Normet's admixtures comply with relevant EN and ASTM standards.
